Welcome to the St. Rose Virtual CCD page! We hope to bring all of our students (at home or in class) together as we learn and grow in our Catholic Faith. Each Monday, lessons from the previous Sunday classes will be uploaded for each grade level. We may have some videos or special crafts to do too, so stay informed! These lessons will include text pages and assignments so that all students (even absent in-class students) can stay on task. After completing your work, please take a photo and email it to Director of Religious Education, Jeannine Frederick, at stroseparishdre@gmail.com. If you would like your work shown in our scrapbook section, please have your parent or guardian sign the page.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There are some changes to our virtual CCD page: each class has its own page now. You can access a grade below by clicking on the link attached to each grade. All assignments are still listed, incase you need them. This will save some scrolling time!

ALL GRADES (January 23, 2022)

Classes were cancelled due to weather so no assignments! Check your grade below next week for more information!

ALL GRADES (December 19, 2021)

This week, we had our CCD Christmas Celebration! We will not return to CCD until January 9, so have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

With your family, test your Catholic Bible Trivia. If you get a correct answer, you can make a basket using a nerf ball and a bucket or whatever you have available! Also, know that God made you unique just like a snowflake is unique! No two are alike. Using whatever you have at home (and with your parents’ permission), make a snowflake! Finally, read the Gospel for the Fourth Week of Advent:

Gospel (Luke 1:39-45)

Mary set out
and traveled to the hill country in haste
to a town of Judah,
where she entered the house of Zechariah
and greeted Elizabeth.
When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting,
the infant leaped in her womb,
and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit,
cried out in a loud voice and said,
“Blessed are you among women,
and blessed is the fruit of your womb.
And how does this happen to me,
that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
For at the moment the sound of your greeting reached my ears,
the infant in my womb leaped for joy.
Blessed are you who believed
that what was spoken to you by the Lord
would be fulfilled.”
