“We cannot better assure our eternal happiness than by living and dying in the service of the poor, in the arms of Providence, and with genuine renouncement of ourselves in order to follow Jesus Christ.”

Saint Vincent de Paul

St. Vincent de Paul Volunteers

Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, and its patron, Saint Vincent de Paul.

The Society collaborates with other people of good will in relieving need and addressing its causes, making no distinction in those served because, in them, Vincentians see the face of Christ.

The Conference at Saint Rose Parish was established in 1930 and has been serving the needs of the poor continuously since that time. Our Conference is affiliated with and its volunteers serve at the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Trumbull County in Warren.

Inquiries about volunteering for the various ministries and services offered by the Vincentian Community can be made at the Parish Office by phone at 330.545.4351 or by contacting the Trumbull Deanery of the St. Vincent de Paul Society by phone at 234.223.2933.
