St. Rose Church, Girard CCD sessions will be from 9:35 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on the Sundays listed in our schedule.

We are happy to enroll your child/children in the St. Rose Church CCD program if they are in grades K-8.

  • All Catholic students living within the boundaries of St. Rose Church, as well as students who live
    outside the boundaries and are registered at St. Rose Church, are eligible for entry into the parish religious
    education program.  There will be no discrimination on the basis of race, national origin, or handicap conditions.

  • Parish and School ministers are to be at least 21 years of age (or 18 years of age or younger, if accompanied at the ministry site by a qualified adult).
  • All Catechetical and Pastoral Administrators, Catechists, Catholic School Religion Teachers, and Home-Based Catechists are to be practicing Catholics who:
    • Live in the Spirit of Jesus
    • Participate in the sacramental life of the Church
    • Know and witness to the teachings and traditions of the Roman Catholic Church
  • Parish and School ministers are to be in full compliance with the Diocese of Youngstown Safe Environment Policy for Children and Vulnerable Adults.
  • Parish and School ministers are to demonstrate ongoing intellectual and spiritual growth as a living priority to nurture personal and communal faith.
